Yes, I know. Whenever the term leisure suits come to mind. Instantly you think of 1975. You think of think unpleasant two ply polyester thats itchy. You may also think of the Lounge Lizard who won’t take no for an answer when asking a lady to dance. If you watched the TV show “Three’s Company” you will also think of Mr. Furley played by the late great Don Knots. That’s exactly what comes to mind when you think of leisure suits. Well, it’s now the year 2008 and Leisure Suits are back but they simply aren’t the same animal as before. Leisure suits have come back in a sophisticated,classy form that simply looks great for man who just doesn’t feel like wearing a suit and tie. The new leisure suit is something that can be worn with a dress hat such as a Godfather or Fedora Hat. Leisure Suits now should be worn with a classy pair of Italian style dress shoes or some nice suede loafers. Some leisure suits also come with a lined jacket for comfort and ease of movement. Leisure suits just aren’t the same 1970’s lounge lizard attire from that bygone era. Thank goodness for that.
